FEAST FOR HEBA
This online workshop and dinner party gathering is an invitation to gather in resistance and hope, to meet and cook across lands &
break bread together.
This space will be in three parts:
The first hour is a workshop offering space to shift the way you cook and your relationship to food. This will have reflective writing questions and ideas for how to cook your dish/s
Then there will be a break for an hour to cook your food.
The last part we eat together with invitations to share stories and experiences.

This virtual dinner party invites us to meet as strangers and eat as friends.

You will need to be in a space where you can access a kitchen and have some food in. Don’t try to plan what you will cook as you will be invited to cook intuitively and experimentally in this session with whatever you have in your cupboards.

This space is to raise funds for Heba and her children Malak, Malik and Amir who are all struggling with serious health conditions and chronic illness. They live in Gaza and have no income to support their basic needs. Let’s honor Heba and have a feast that brings the material support she desperately needs right now. It’s time to show up.

COOKERY COURSE FLAVOUR EXPLOSIONS: PLANT-BASED RETREAT CHEF TRAINING
This fully comprehensive course is designed for established chefs, retreat chefs, both professional and passionate home cooks with a strong understanding of food. It’s aimed at those who want to master the art of creating exquisite plant-based dishes for professional and high standard European retreat and remote kitchens.
You’ll leave with developed menu plans covering at least two weeks of diverse savory dishes, along with the skills and confidence to run a kitchen independently—working with fresh ingredients, live food and creating food from scratch with ease.
In the course you will be given the framework to meet all the needs of a retreat kitchen and cook explosive food; learning the guests patterns and tastes, and designing menus that flow with each week’s journey. You will master flavor switching to delight diverse palates and effortlessly adapt dishes to dietary needs. Craft classic naturally plant-based dishes as well as more unique flavour bombs. Hands-on, practical, experimental and packed with ideas and skills so that you leave with the confidence and inspiration to head chef retreat kitchens.
Course Schedule: 2nd–9th April
A 1-week training experience on the rural coast of Crete, Greece, at Yoga Rocks Retreat, with accommodation, all meals, and materials included.

bringing extra celebration and sparkle to the festive period. All plant-based, mostly wild.
This event is all about pleasure, indulgence and sensory explosions.
The Food:
This specially selected sharing feast is designed to give you an abundance of different dishes and treats to try.
Ingredients include foraged mountain and forest herbs, hand gathered Cretan sea salt and single estate Cretan virgin Koroneiki olive oil.

Radical Healing Feast: For Survivors of Sexual Violence
A mini course and feast celebrating healing foods, plants and processes that support our resilience
This day will introduce you to plants and foods that help take care of our bodies and mental health (especially if we have been through trauma).
We will look at:
Basic plant properties and medicinal herbal teas for mental health and nervous system Introduction to wild food/foraging plant identification (including a short walk)
Making a ferment to take home
Cooking and preparing food and learning about flavour combinations (including making different pestos and flatbreads)
Thinking about what food or plants our bodies need
A shared feast
All food is plant-based
Sometimes we can feel powerless in recovering and responding to trauma and chaos but gaining knowledge about and relationship to plants can give us more power, grounding and control in our recovery.
In times of many injustices, suffering and oppression we will gather to explore where we can find trust, connection and healing in plants and food around us.

Vegan Cookery Course: Flavour Explosions
This course will explore the different elements of curating flavour combinations and textures to build exciting plates though play and intuition.
We will look at different processes and cooking bases to fuel ideas and inspiration and encourage experimentation. It hopes to challenge you to move you away from set recipes and into intuitive cooking and play; a different kind of cooking course.

Nut and plant cheese (and cream sauce bases)
Pestos (including sun-dried tomato, sage and walnut pesto)
